HUSS! Stabbed in the Face follows the journey of Eat the Turnbuckle; an extreme deathmatch wrestling metal band formed in Philadelphia in 2012. This documentary chronicles the band’s chance formation, through their blood-soaked climb up the ladder of success, to their chaotic end following their performance at Wacken Open Air in Germany. Broken bones accrued, gallons of blood were spilled, and raw, unadulterated chaos ensued before the eyes of unsuspecting music fans throughout the 5 years of the band’s existence.

On-stage, we see close-up accounts of brutal violence across the US and Europe; off-stage, we see the inner workings of metal’s most unorthodox musical act. Birthed in the underground metal scene, Eat the Turnbuckle consisted of Jag13, El-Shlako, Chubb Rock, Captain Hook, Beerdust, and several other part-time lunatics. Additional stories from Pustulus Maximus, Jeff Clayton, Dr. Heathen Scum, Shawn “The Butcher” Winkler, and Sammytown. In the spirit of GG Allin and other underground punk and metal bands, Eat the Turnbuckle cultivated an art form that changed the face of underground music and independent wrestling. Now they have gathered to retell the story in their own words with narration by Larry Legend.
